My husbands all time favorite treat are brownies. I will be leaving him and wanted to make him something special. I went in the store yesterday and bought Nutella for the first time. I found this brownie recipe and new it was a must try. Not to mention, I knew that HH always has incredible recipes and food.
My Nutella conclusion: Nutella is incredible. I do not know how I lived without it. It will be a staple in my home for now on.
My Brownie conclusion: They are way to good for words. You can find the original recipe here
They are by far the best brownies I have ever had. Chewy. Gooey. Yummy. Goodness.
Don't take my word for it. Give them a try!!!
NUTELLA BROWNIES
1 cp. unsalted butter
2 cps. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
1 cp. flour
3/4 cp. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash of salt
1/2 cp. Nutella
1/2 cp. Smooth Peanut Butter
1. Melt the butter. Add the sugar and mix. Add the vanilla and one egg at a time.
2. Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a different bowl.
3. Slowly add to the wet mixture and combine. Do not over mix. Add the Nutella and Peanut butter. Once again, do not over mix.
4. Add to a 9x13 greased pan and cook on 350 for about 50 minutes. When a tooth pick is inserted into the brownies and comes out clean.
Nutella is like a miracle sent from somewhere. I've got some nutella recently too. Got some ideas i wnt to try out with it. ;-) Brownies are definitely on the list.
ReplyDeleteAnything with Nutella has to be amazing! Thanks for the great recipe!
ReplyDeleteMy husband will go nuts for these! many thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteOh.my.god. Miranda, thank you! Brownies AND Nutella?! This is like an Orgasm for me.
ReplyDeleteMaking these this week for sure!!
After that description and this gorgeous picture, I will certainly give them a try!!
ReplyDeleteYou just reminded me I have some new cocoa powder I bought, so these are on the list, and darn they would make a nice breakfast snack for me right now, I know...I'm bad!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe these have nutella AND peanut butter. They seem dangerous. Very dangerous. Unless they use their addictive powers for good. Like the superhero of the brownie world that they could potentially be.
ReplyDeleteHm, I don't remember seeing these but you've convinced me to give 'em a try! My children's sitter loves nutella and these would be perfect to share with her. Gotta keep her happy! :)

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm making this!!!! Looks great and welcome to the world of Nutella :)
ReplyDeleteI grew up on Nutella! We use to have it with "tartine" as a little snack after school. Never thought of making brownines with it though - sounds incredinbly sinful! Your husband is a lucky man... :)
ReplyDeleteI made these tonight and they were very good....but I really couldn't tell that they had nutella in them. I could taste a the slight PB undertones but nothing crazy. I tell you what though they were the perfect balance of cakey and fudgy and moist. Leaning away from the cakey. I did pull mine out at the 37 minute mark and if I wanted 'em a little fugdier I could have yanked 'em at 35.
ReplyDeleteThanks again!

ReplyDeleteHoly Yumminess!
ReplyDeleteI am just starting to get on a nutella kick and have been working on a nutella ice cream with coffee macerated cherries. Would be perfect if I did not keep screwing it by leaving it outside the freezer or turning into a klutz who drops it after its spin in the kitchen aid.
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
Simply Yummy !!!! Thank you very much for sharing. Cheers !
ReplyDeleteYummo! I love nutella, it is my late night sweet treat. I just got a whole tub of nutella I will have to make some of this brownies.
ReplyDeleteHi Miranda!
ReplyDeleteLate to see this, but gonna bake when I'm back from holiday!

I like Nutella, but not my favaorite at all... I guess I'll try it with a Turkish chocolate-hazelnut cream which I like more than Nutella.
OMG this looks awesome! Nutella is always a huge hit in my house :)
