2 TB olive oil
1 sweet onion
3 garlic cloves minced (not the jar stuff, minced yourself)
28oz. fire roasted tomatoes
4 TB fresh basil
3 TB fresh oregano
1 TB fresh rosemary
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. pepper
1. Added the olive oil. Then added the onion and garlic on med heat until soft. Then added sauce and the rest of the ingredients. I cooked on low (simmering) all day. (6 hrs)

mmm.. the fire roasted tomatoes sound wonderful in this sauce!
ReplyDeleteI think it's the basil and the oregano that really make the dish. I also like to put in a little chili pepper flake as well.
