My Simple Marinara


2 TB olive oil
1 sweet onion
3 garlic cloves minced (not the jar stuff, minced yourself)
28oz. fire roasted tomatoes
4 TB fresh basil
3 TB fresh oregano
1 TB fresh rosemary
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. pepper



1. Added the olive oil. Then added the onion and garlic on med heat until soft. Then added sauce and the rest of the ingredients. I cooked on low (simmering) all day. (6 hrs)

  3. I think it's the basil and the oregano that really make the dish. I also like to put in a little chili pepper flake as well.
